No - not quite a dog that explodes! Monday 20th October saw Flt Lt Kaufman give a presentation to cadets and staff, with the aid of a canine companion.

Cadets were talked through the selection process (of dogs and police officers to become dog handlers) and the operational use of police dogs. Cadets and staff posed questions, and an the presentation proved enjoyable. "It was a real insight into the life of an explosive search dog" said Cdt Payne.

Finally, Flt Lt Kaufman's 6 year old dog Zak was introduced, and a demonstration was given as to his explosive searching skills.
