The squadron participates in many fundraising events in the community, The Bolesworth Show Jumping Classic is one such event.  This is the first year that the squadron has assisted, but we hope that we will be invited back next year!

"The Bolesworth show jumping classic, is an event in which almost every cadet on the squdron took part in.  We did a range of tasks for the event organisers but the primary role over the weekend was moving the jumps course around for the different classes.  Coupled with the frequency of the rider knocking the jumps over we were kept busy all weekend, also from the reaction of the cadets back at squadron, i believe they all thoroughly enjoyed it.
All through the weekend the cadets went on breaks to explore the range of shopping and display stands. All of the NCO's that could make it stayed overnight from Thursday to Sunday to help out all the way to the end of each night, which frequently ended at around eight on nine o'clock in the evening.  The dedication and effort considerably overshadowed the efforts of other ATC squadrons at the event helping on different sections.
The event organisers have openly expressed their thanks to 95 (Crewe) Squadron over the PA system at the event and also in a letter to the squadron.  The money raised at this event is going to be used towards a new squadron minibus which will enable us to travel to other fundraising events without frequent mechanical problems.  
Finally, the event organisers have generously invited a number of cadets for afternoon tea at the Bolesworth astle to celebrate the efforts of all the volunteers that helped out at the event, we have been invited back next year to fulfil the same role, when i am sure the event will be even bigger and better.
